Almost Healthy Cookies
1,5 cup rolled oats
1,5 cup all purpose flour
Some flax seed - 3 table spoons? Grind ones are good
1 tea spoon baking soda
2/3 cup olive oil
3 eggs (not vegan, but haven't figured that one out just yet - buy from someone who keeps hens as pets)
1 cup grind inside of coconut (sorry - do not know what it is called, but it is the white inside of coconut)
2/3 cup sugar
1/2 tea spoon good salt
Mix all ingredients together in a bowl
Put on a baking sheet as cookies and bake until nicely brown 190C - leave on rack to cool
Enjoy!
Just made some, but my food photography is not very good - everything looks like a stew...... I don't know why........ therefore no photo

Welcome!
Welcome to Cyan :salong, Jens Bjelkes gate 13-15 in Oslo for my opening of Bloom! Today I hung the pictures, and I'm happy and quite proud as it looks stylish with beautiful prints from Studio Technika here in Oslo. I'm really looking forward to the opening:))))))) Thank you to Cyan's Britta, Studio Technika and Elise Selj at Rammegalleriet for a lot of help. It all feels pretty fab!

Las Vegas Chrysanthemum Distilled
The series Las Vegas Chrysanthemum started as a graceful, pink chrysanthemum, for me a holy flower, and turned, via rather banal processing into these very artificial pictures. My inspiration is what I think of as a the pinnacle of artificiality - Las Vegas - with its lights, shows, shotgun weddings, drinking and gambling, something I perceive as a living nightmare, based on our unwillingness to deal with life's realities and a deep sense of greed.
I do understand why artificiality can attract us; either as an escape, a vacation from life or as a study in what is certainly a rather shady part of the human condition. Still I believe that we lose everything when we remove ourselves from nature, and I do hope we will be able to find ourselves as a part of nature again before it is too late. After all, nature does very well without us, but we can not live without nature.

Study Las Vegas Chrysanthemum
After working on hopefully tasteful monochromes for months for an exhibition, I just decided to be a bit crazy bordering on tasteless. The start was a pink, delicate chrysanthemum, for me a holy flower, treated with rather banal processes - becoming these. The inspiration is Las Vegas, a living nightmare in my eyes, as drinking and gambling is not my kind of fun at all. But I feel a fascination none the less with artificiality and what drives us towards it.
