This is sparkling. His "Quixote" is equally beyond words ~ at least my words!
I will look it up.
He is amazing, and somehow, for me, he looks a bit like I imagine a Russian sailor would look. Quite the contradiction in a way and sort of fun, or maybe you disagree?
And Kirkland looks effortless en pointe.
I post several Russian sailors early at rmbl (search pallada at the page). Quite right. He'd fit right in.

They are just wonderful.
I love this Christmas tradition. My daughter danced in a small role last week end. I've promised to show her this version that I have on a very old casette tape. (still have some, if you can believe that!)
That's so nice!
I have an old tape of the Erik Bruhn documentary:) It will not be thrown away, it is thoroughly wonderful.
I've got tickets to see the Nutcracker with the Moscow City Ballet next month!
