I'm Doing the Mad Girl Thing Again

Please don't ask. I do not need the bag, but ... Of course, I could use a more intricate, exclusive taste, but I like this one, for everyday use. No room for books though, well ... I'm getting it. It is nice. It is fun. The leather is OK, not heavenly, but all right. It will last as long as it lasts - and I get a terrific splash of colour. It is the mad girl thing again.

Autumn

Close to Oslo, and we finally got a little sun. The Brahms underneath reminds of why I wanted to become a musician in the first place

So Far Away From Everything

I'm dreaming about Oz again. It is so far away from everything, a bit like Norway. I missed "old culture" there. My friends were not into aboriginal culture nor long hikes in national parks. I must go back some day, if possible. I could have stayed on, gone to med school there. I was playing with the thought. In a way I wanted to, but not for the right reasons. Oz is interesting, but not for keeps - for me.

Doctor School & Trying To Be Vegan

The vegan project is a little down&up these days. I've done some cutting down on the amount of food, sticking to vegetable based foods and an occasional egg. Fish is not something I like to eat, but my body craves it when I eat what I eat right now. The most important thing is, to find out how to get all the essential amino acids from vegetable sources and rotate what I eat even better to get an even greater variety of foods in the diet.

Doctor school is looking up. They have started mentor groups, where we can discuss things that puzzle us. I was lucky enough to get in to one of those and it was just great. Awfully nice bunch of people. I know this will be valuable.

Erik Bruhn

The last youtube video is from a documentary about Erik Bruhn that I find quite extraordinary. I remember seeing it and feeling it changed my direction. He talked about always returning to the way of Zen. I got curious.
