Romantic Langesund

Old Langesund Bathhotel was built around 1930 as a spa and a meeting place for society

Situated close to the sea, naturally, back then having bathhouses for men and women

The bath houses had towers to ensure a good view. Over to the women's bathhouses?? The bathhouses were taken by storms twice though, but the owner is considering a rebuild. 

Celebrity guests included Hamsun and Ibsen

A lovely, young lady gave a guided tour and found a huge, quirky looking pot of coffee she served on the veranda
