Seasonal Treats in Stavanger? But not on Saturdays

"Berliner bollene (stir fried cakes/buns with jam inside) are here, but not on Saturdays - yum yum" Not sure I want any?...?

For me, I suppose it depends what kind of jam we're speaking about. Our local deep-fried dough treat in Pennsylvania are funnel-cakes, lacy fried batter snack or dessert poured from a funnel into hot oil, cooked, drained and then dredged in powdered sugar. Curtis

Sounds a tad bit more interesting. I stick to strawberry jam, scones and preferably Devon clotted cream if possible. Cream tea works as a sedative:)
